Just a quick update on grounds of excitement. A couple of years ago, I abandoned a dating venue project on Second Life after getting conflicted about what to do and how. After a tiny adjustment, the game will be back on, and it’ll be awesome!
You know how you sit on something for a couple of years, and it starts to look really daggy after a while? Yes? When you’re working on it, it looks really good, or at least decent, but you’ve put so much effort into it that despite knowing better, you don’t want to waste the work you’ve already put into it so you keep going? Once the sense of urgency and “gosh, I worked so hard on this” wears off, and you look at it and think, “Oh wow, that’s rubbish”? I feel like that a lot with my older stuff.
However, that’s not how I felt when I reopened my ZEN METAL Wanted archives. I was excited! How did I walk away from this?! This is awesome! With a few small tweaks, it’ll be back on Second Life, and I’ll drum it up and down everywhere I can. I figure First Lifers should join Second Life just for it, it’ll be that good.
I’ll let you know when it’s ready… No, I’ll push it down your damned throat is what I’ll do. :p 😉
