Are you tired of Wet Willies, Big Daddy, and Muddy’s? Just not your scene? How about you find some new action?
Many of us have found places that look awesome, but we wind up never being online when there’s a party on. Therefore, we are easily members of groups that only have parties when we’re fast asleep or at work.
A better option than using the search and “hot now” category based on YESTERDAY’s traffic is to join mixed event groups that allow members to send notifications without delay. Effectively, you’ll sign up to be spammed, but the notices are often very much worth checking out.
It is also a good idea to untick the “receive group IM’s” option, as they generate a lot of IM noise, which will, in return, cap your IM’s in no time. Still, you’ll want to keep receiving the notices.
There are groups like Events! Events! Events! – very active, and Party Notices and others. Look for more in search for groups that allow members to send notices to other users to ensure you actually get tips on where to go.
You may have to wait for a few minutes before the first party is on, but don’t worry; one will pop up soon enough. If that one isn’t your cup of tea, the next party bus is going to be knocking on your door soon.
