ZEN METAL Keystone Doors Help

ZEN METAL Keystone Doors allow visitors to open a portal directly from ZEN METAL to your sim. You can also limit the type of visitors by personality traits compatible to you, with the ZEN METAL Personality Quest Keystones, but you can also allow everyone to enter your sim.

Reserve a Keystone Door

At ZEN METAL Gowers, you’ll find a lot of doors. (Backdrops.) When you touch a door, it may be a portal to other sims. You can reserve one of these portals for your own use by paying the door to accept your configuration settings.

(Right click -> Pay.)

How to setup your reserved Keystone Door

You need two items:

  • A Landmark to your destination.
  • A notecard named exactly: allowedgroups

You can use or grab a copy of the free Keystone Door Configurator Tool at the charming Keystone Door Help and Configuration Room

πŸ“Œ Simple Setup Steps:

  1. Hold CTRL.
  2. Drag your Landmark and the ‘allowedgroups’ notecard onto your Keystone Door.
  3. Release when the door’s boundary turns red.

Allow Everyone: Simply write one line in your allowedgroups notecard:

Allow Everyone

Allow Specific Groups: Add lines for each trait. For example:

CIS Female
Heterosexual

This combination only allows visitors who match BOTH traits.

To allow visitors matching at least one trait (e.g., CIS Female or CIS Male):

CIS Female OR CIS Male

Important Tips:

  • Group names are case-sensitive. Use exactly as provided by the configurator.
  • Always test your door to ensure you can enter yourself!

Note:

Strict – requires every one of these keystones:

Group 1
Group 2
Group 3

Lose – requires just one of the mentioned keystones:

Group 1 OR Group 2 OR Group 3

Don’t have any keystones?

To acquire the keystones, everyone has to take the ZEN METAL Personality Quest that takes you through the Second Life mainland to discover yourself and to find your best friends and steamiest lovers on Second Life.

You can still use the doors by configuring your notecard with the line

Allow Everyone
