Second Life is a virtual world, the Internet in 3D, where I created our hangout ZEN METAL for people looking to find connections with other people. You’ll need a PC and a mouse, no special expensive gear to join, and you’ll need to download a free viewer (like a 3D browser) from either FireStorm (recommended) or Second Life itself (also good but…)
Second Life is a fully adult environment, no minors allowed. One of the last platforms that understands people as complex, multifaceted individuals, with the capacity to appreciate all beauty in life, not just whatever is child-friendly.
Most content is created the same way as the Internet – by users for the users, owned by Linden Labs, the brainchild of Philip Linden (avatars named “Linden” work for the company). It is as close to an anarchist society as they can come – every user creates their own rules and vision – if it’s legal, it can stay!
ZEN METAL stuff
I am the creator of ZEN METAL projects on Second Life. I am constantly working on the sim and making sure things break on a regular basis. My ambition sometimes greatly exceeds my skills, but I fix things. A lot. 😀
I am only now starting to promote my sim, so you’ll be among the first to hop on. Come on and explore the sim and touch stuff! Some of it gives you gifts, some explodes… And do bring a friend along, sitting together on a sofa is thought to be a lovely way to spend virtual time… *tisk*
What I’ve got so far… Is a lot. It’s a lot, beaches, city, art galleries, a formal dance hall, [Carnal Elite] location, Sekz’s Club, and a bit of this and that. Come and see.
