In your Second Life profile, there’s a tab called “picks.” The original use of it is to help people store their favorite destinations in a way that others can easily find them, too. The drawback to me is that there seems to be no way to save the landmark for later – after all if you’re reading someone’s profile, you don’t want to jump to another sim to check it out suddenly.
To get over this problem, there’s the “show on map” button in the picks. Touch that, and then hit “copy SLurl” and paste the result onto a notecard or a web browser address window and create a system to check them out later. You might want to bookmark the SLurl even if you can’t grab a landmark.
Creating a Pick for Second Life profile.
You need to stand on the land that you want to promote. There’s two ways to open your picks, one is from the pin on your viewer (if it’s there) or, from your profile
and then go to Picks tab.
Once there, you can touch “new…” The pick creator will add the land profile information, and you can save it.
Or, you can add your own stuff into the landmark – often people use this as a profile extender, for example, if you like to frequent Fogs, you might want to add what it is that you’re looking for at Fogs etc. Destination specific profiles, you know?

You can also upload your own pick photo if you don’t like the one they have, I’ll even give you a template:
Grab that to your Photoshop or use the dimensions width 300 and height 160 for a Canva.com custom design size if you like.
